Australian Government to boost funding for research into concussion and brain injury in sport

Today the Hon Greg Hunt MP, Minister for Health and Aged Care announced an additional $340,000 in funding for the Concussion and Brain Health Project.

The study will be looking at the brain health of retired elite sports men and women to better understand the results that repeated concussive and sub-concussive events can have on the long term health of sports people.

Understanding how head impacts affect athlete wellbeing is key to making sport safe for everyone who takes part. We believe that HITIQ, without Nexus A9 mouthguard and CoVR technology is perfectly placed to help make sport a safer place for all.
